The Abundance Meme
A “meme” is a belief, trend or habit that spreads through a culture and is often passed down through generations. Memes are sometimes called social or cultural genes, but while genes are biological, memes are purely abstract.
The abundance meme is one name for the spreading of abundance or prosperity consciousness. In many ways, the mainstream culture spread the opposite of this -what we might call the poverty or scarcity meme. However, at the same time, many people are declining to participate in the scarcity meme and are opting into the abundance meme. How do you do this?
It’s really just a choice, but it’s something you have to pay attention to every day –every second preferably! Because the abundance meme is related to the Law of Attraction, which states that we are always attracting into our lives something that matches our thoughts and emotions. Everything we think, feel, say and do is a kind of energy broadcast that attracts something similar to us in the future. So if we want to participate in the scarcity meme, we only have to watch the news or listen to our friends or family members who are always talking about how poor they are, and respond in kind. On the other hand, to participate in the abundance meme, we may have to make some changes. You don’t have to become a fanatic or try to “convert” people, but you have to not be willing to accept any energy that is not consistent with what you want to attract!
